The Problem Of Large Color Difference In Heat Transfer Film Printing

With the continuous development of China's economy, self-adhesive labels have been more and more widely used in various product packaging fields. In recent years, people demand more and more exquisite packaging appearance, and the amount of heat transfer film materials is also increasing. The heat transfer film materials are different from paper self-adhesive materials, which have higher requirements for processing technology and are prone to some problems during processing. Here are some reasons and solutions for the large color difference in heat transfer film label printing.

1. Color difference in heat transfer film materials

Color difference of different batches of heat transfer films is inevitable, and the color difference will be more obvious due to light reflection after printing. Only materials can be replaced at this time. There is no heat transfer film without color difference, so when developing new products, the upper and lower limits of label color should be signed with the customer, and the color difference range should be confirmed to avoid possible risks.

2. The difference in surface inking of heat transfer films

Color difference also occurs in the printing of the same batch of heat transfer films, which is due to the difference in inking property caused by the unstable surface energy of materials. After printing materials with chromatic aberration, the dot size of the surface layer will be different. At this time, the primer can be applied, but the raw materials still need to be improved.

3. The difference in the flatness of heat transfer films

The flatness of materials directly affects the reducibility of printing dots, thus causing chromatic aberration. The printing color difference and dot size caused by this phenomenon are obviously different. At this time, you can prime and apply ink first, and then consider replacing the material if the problem cannot be solved.
